The Mountain Ridge Percussion Ensemble, formed in 2007, serves as the percussion section for the Concert Band, and also has performed for a number of concerts as a stand alone percussion ensemble.

The group has received superior ratings at the Solo & Ensemble Festival, and provides the members additional opportunity to learn the various instruments of the percussion family.
